Day 13: Thu, Oct 27 -- Felucca Boat, Day 2 and Kom Ombo

Synopsis

We woke up to the sound of the sails going up as we set out for our second day of sailing. What a wonderful way to wake up! After a couple of hours, we docked and took a tour of Kom Ombo, which was, in itself, an impressive temple, though certainly not the most impressive that we saw during the tour. We spent the rest of the day much the same as the first day, swimming and playing cards while we sailed. That night we gathered some wood and the Nubian crew from a few Felucca boats built a bonfire. They broke out some drums and we sat around listening, drinking rum and dancing.
