Day 12: Wed, Oct 26 -- Felucca Boat, Day 1

Synopsis

First thing this morning, we boarded our Felucca boat, a traditional Nubian-style sail boat, which consisted mostly of a large mattress that served as our lounge, dinner table and bed for the next three days. We spent a peaceful day sailing down the Nile, playing cards, and of course, taking a dip in the Nile (ignoring the warnings from the US government web page, because how often do you get a chance to swim in the Nile?).
